What is BSCI?
- BSCI stands for Business Social Compliance Initiative. It is a leading business-driven drive for companies committed to improving working conditions in the global supply chain.
- A European social monitoring system for ethical sourcing, it was initiated by the Brussels-based Foreign Trade Association (FTA).
Why should I carry this Standard ?
- Following dramatic growth of BSCI over the years, in 2011 FTA made the decision to clearly include sustainability as one of its pillars and therefore adopted a stronger organizational structure to further develop the growth of the association and maintain an excellent service to its members.
- BSCI unite more than 900 companies around a development-oriented system applicable to all sectors and sourcing countries.

How long does it take to get this implemented?
