How long does it take to get this implemented?
In an organization of 20 people or fewer, an ISO 45001 implementation may be possible in around six months, depending on the focus, knowledge, expertise, and resources available. For larger organizations, a year may be required, although as mentioned above this can be dependent on other factors.

What is (OH&S) ISO 18001?
Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series or OHSAS, (officially BS OHSAS 18001) is an internationally applied British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems.
This is the world’s first occupational health and safety international standard that helps organizations provide a safe and healthy workplace for workers/employees, prevent deaths, work-related injury and ill-health as well as continually improves performance.
This Standard was recently updated & adopted as OHSAS 18001:2007 to provide greater emphasis on ‘Heath’
rather than just ‘Safety’.
Requirements:
This standard requires an organization to formally document the areas that are covered by their OH&S policy and maintain evidence that it is operating according to the requirements of the standard.
How to Create this Standard
Combination of Standard
ISO45001 can be aligned with existing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems. Historically, many organizations start with the Quality Management System ISO 9001, and then add the environment management requirements from ISO 14001.
This Standard is compatible with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management System Standards.
